My story

Hung On Wood began as a creative endeavor during the pandemic lockdown, initially driven by a desire to save money and fill the weekends with a new hobby. My journey started in 2020, with my first project—a face-grain cutting board that I crafted as a Christmas gift for my parents and in-laws. Their enthusiastic response sparked something in me, and soon after, I took on the challenge of building a dining room table for my own home. While I had limited woodworking experience at the time, I joined 2x6 boards from Home Depot with glue and pocket screws. It wasn’t a perfect piece by professional standards, but it’s still in use today as a reminder of my beginnings.

Since then, I’ve expanded my skills and grown passionate about creating beautiful, handcrafted wood items that bring warmth and functionality to people’s homes. From cutting boards and charcuterie boards to Adirondack chairs, pizza peels, coasters, and larger furniture pieces, my collection now covers a range of unique, carefully designed products. Each item is made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship, embodying a rustic yet refined aesthetic.

As Hung On Wood grows, I remain committed to continually refining my techniques and exploring new designs. For now, my goal is to create quality pieces that bring joy to customers while helping me reinvest in tools and materials. My long-term vision is to develop Hung On Wood into a full-time venture, dedicated to building and sharing the art of handcrafted woodworking with even more people.
